【摘要】:Theobjectiveofthispracticeistoprovideguidelinesforthepreparationofsamplesforuseincollaborativetests,toevaluatemethodsduringtheirdevelopment,andfortheevaluationoftheprecisionandbiasofproposedtestmethods.StatementsoftheprecisionandbiasareamandatorypartofASTMtestmethods.Suchanevaluationisnecessarytoprovideguidancetotheuserastothereliabilityofmeasurementsthatcanbeexpectedbyitsuse.Thestatementsaredevelopedonthebasisofuserexperience(ordinarilycollaborativetests)withthetestmethod.Theavailabilityoftestsamplesisakeyrequirementforcollaborativeevaluationoftestmethods.1.1Thispracticeestablishesuniformgeneralproceduresforthedevelopment,(preparation)anduseofsamplesinthecollaborativetestingofmethodsforchemicalanalysisofsedimentsandsimilarmaterials.1.2Theprinciplesofthispracticeareapplicabletoaqueoussampleswithsuitabletechnicalmodifications.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
