【摘要】:1.1Theserequirementscovermotor-operatedappliancestobeemployedinaccordancewiththeNationalElectricalCode,NFPA70.1.2Theserequirementsalsocoversmallutilizationappliances,suchasvibratorsinwhichmotionofanoperatingpartisproducedbyelectricalmeans.1.3Theserequirementsdonotcoverappliancesratedmorethan600V;nordotheycoverappliancesinvolvinguniversalmotorsratedmorethan250V.1.4Theserequirementsdonotcoverequipmentintendedparticularlyforthecontrolofelectricmotors;separatormotors;norelectricclocks,fans,clothesdryers,washingmachines,hairdryers,tools,wastedisposers,dishwashers,officeappliancesandbusinessequipment,refrigerators,airconditioners,vendingandamusementmachines,hairclippersandshavers,snowmovers,automotiveandgarageequipment,orothermotor-operatedappliancesthatarecoveredbyindividualrequirements.1.5Anappliancethatutilizessomeothersourceofenergy,suchasgasorsteam,inadditiontoelectricenergywillbeinvestigatedundertheserequirementsandundersuchadditionalrequirementsasareapplicabletotheapplianceunderconsideration.
