【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardisonlyoneofmanytoolsavailableforuseinfiresafetyengineering.Itisintendedtobeusedinconjunctionwithmodelsforanalysisoftheinitiationanddevelopmentoffire,firespread,smokeformationandmovement,chemicalspeciesgeneration,transportanddecayandpeoplemovement,aswellasfiredetectionandsuppression.ThisInternationalStandardistobeusedonlywithinthiscontext.ThisInternationalStandardisintendedtoaddresstheconsequencesofhumanexposuretothelifethreatcomponentsoffireasoccupantsmovethroughanenclosedstructure.Thetime-dependentconcentrationsoffireeffluentsandthethermalenvironmentofafirearedeterminedbytherateoffiregrowth,theyieldsofthevariousfiregasesproducedfromtheinvolvedfuels,thedecaycharacteristicsofthosefiregasesandtheventilationpatternwithinthestructure(seeClauseA.1).Oncethesearedetermined,themethodologypresentedinthisInternationalStandardcanbeusedfortheestimationoftheavailableescapetime.ThisInternationalStandardprovidesguidanceonestablishingtheprocedurestoevaluatethelifethreatcomponentsoffirehazardanalysisintermsofthestatusofexposedhumansubjectsatdiscretetimeintervals.Itmakespossiblethedeterminationofatenabilityendpoint,atwhichtimeitisestimatedthatoccupantsarenolongerabletotakeeffectiveactiontoaccomplishtheirownescape(seeClauseA.2).Thelifethreatcomponentsaddressedincludefire-effluenttoxicity,heatandvisualobscurationduetosmoke.Twomethodsarepresentedforassessmentoffire-effluenttoxicity:thetoxic-gasmodelandthemass-lossmodel.Aspectssuchastheinitialimpactofvisualobscurationduetosmokeonfactorsaffectingthetimerequiredforoccupantstoescape,thetoxiceffectsofaerosolsandparticulatesandanyinteractionswithgaseousfireeffluentcomponentsandadversehealtheffectsfollowingexposuretofireatmospheresarenotconsideredinthisInternationalStandard(seetheIntroduction).
